From the year 2010 to the greater part of this year, i had the opportunity to meet hundreds of people through a public meet-up called Chessunday Initiative.
I have a binding committment to what i intended to achieve through the vehicle of Chessunday Initiative. As a result, i have stood by it and watched it come into form.
Goal setting and goal achieving are absolutely two different things and so we have had to disrupt ourselves constructively to be able to achieve our primary objective. At first, we set out to Build a Trusted Business Network.
We have tried many things, many have worked and some have fallen flat on the ground.
In this regard, we have changed the cornestones upon which Chessunday was formed to be able to be more focussed and as a stonemason, this sunday we laid a New Better Chessunday! I would call it Chessunday 2.0

BETTER VENUE::
We shall be meeting at Bush House every Sunday at one of the properties listed on the Ujenzibora Property website.
This is located off Fair Acres Road in Karen, Nairobi.
I think the compensation for this move will be incredible!
We are no longer trying to run chessunday alongside watching a football match, in a bar on the street!
Its a new thing as it was originally intended to BECOME. Chessunday is about a better value for our time and I believe we shall now meet at a better venue where we can get the greatest return on our investment.
An organisation should take a rolling stone approach where they change direction when they are accelerating. I believe we are making such a bold move in the RIGHT DIRECTION.
1ST EXPERIENCE OF CHESSUNDAY 2.0 ::
In our last meeting, we made several milestones:
1. We traced our journey through what i called Chessunday 1.0, Its pitfalls and successes
2. I reached out to several of the initial team that helped craft this incredible vision (and won their trust). I hope this post finds those i did not reach
3. We watched a DVD, “The Art of Thinking”, something New and Exciting we had never done before
4. We had lots of refreshing fun
HIGHER ADVANTAGE
My faith is that we are building a higher level advantage.
We are creating THICK VALUE and placing a HIGHER PREMIUM on the time we spend together. While going forward, we are thankful to all who have been with us thus far!
