Happy Labour Day fellow Kenyans!

Apart from @KenyaPower Company messing up with our power supply 70% of the time we have rainfall…i wish you all a happy day! Next year Kenya Republic turns 50Years Old, am excited about that!

We at @Ujenzibora are keen on creating new and better job opportunities for our Brothers and Sisters and labour day is just great day to reflect on the virtues of work in releasing The Blessing to society!

Work happens to be one great channel that is used to release human potential!

Metal Art

At the moment we are building capacity at the Workshop which is our practical approach in solving problems with metal, work and art. For example, On Sunday we were playing with metals at Ujenzibora Workshop and made a Shoe Rack that can take up to 20 Pairs of Shoes. I am proud of my colleagues who executed the idea in about 5hrs.

Today we hope to grind the rough edges and probably paint it.

Housing Solution

We are actively thinking outside the box to be able to start Constructing Ujenzibora Houses. We are looking at all the options so that home ownership does not have to be a nightmare in Kenya. There is no solid reason why one should pay a 30-year or 20-Year Mortgage in this day and time. We believe that once we come up with that first prototype of an affordable house, we can do as many in any part of this country.

The people are asking and we must rise to the occasion to provide the solutions!

The Black Swan

Today am reading the Black Swan book by Nassim Nicholas Taleb…I hope to oscillate between reading it and bending metals.

For those who have read it, what are your quick thoughts?

I stumbled upon this good quote at Brain-picker’s post on the Gift of Ignorance. Check out that article!

“There is a great gift that ignorance has to bring to anything, you know.”
